Procurement Intern

Summary: Tekni-Plex is a globally integrated company that provides innovative solutions through material science and manufacturing technologies. They are seeking a Procurement Intern to analyze procurement and supplier data, support sourcing decisions, and collaborate with various teams to align technical and commercial requirements. Responsibilities: - Analyze procurement and supplier data to support sourcing decisions - Prepare comparative analyses (price, quality, lead time, technical specifications, and total cost) - Support supplier sourcing and evaluation, including RFQs and supplier benchmarking - Conduct market analysis to monitor price trends, new suppliers, and alternative materials or technologies - Assist in maintaining procurement databases, reports, and dashboards - Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align technical and commercial requirements - Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes - Create presentations for senior leadership Required Qualifications: - Current pursuit of a full-time undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering - Demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Acute attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi and Word - Strong motivation and work ethic and the ability to work independently, ability to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI Important Skills: Quantitative skills, Analytical skills
