Retail Merchandising Specialist

Summary: Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. The role involves styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience while ensuring clothing is organized and presented to reflect brand identity. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards - Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise - Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings - Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability - Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device - Smartphones are required for reporting: + IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer + Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift Required Qualifications: - Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field - Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling) - Familiarity with planograms and visual directives - A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings - Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift - Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer; Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest Preferred Qualifications: - A portfolio of work Required Skills: Apparel merchandising, Planograms Important Skills: Visual directives, Mannequin styling Nice-to-Have Skills: communication Benefits: Competitive hourly rate, Paid online training, Flexible schedule, Wellness benefits, Opportunities for advancement
