Job Description
Summary: Wind Creek Chicago Southland is dedicated to providing guests with an engaging and enjoyable experience. The Cage & Player Services Clerk is responsible for processing customer credit data, assisting patrons with inquiries, and maintaining departmental records while ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Process credit applications in compliance with Wind Creek’s standard operating procedures, Internal Controls, & IGB Regulations
- Assist patrons with credit applications, phone inquiries, and tax documentation
- Updates and processes credit data and gAaming reports while maintaining the confidentiality of credit files
- Provides credit information to inquiring casinos upon request
- Maintains and files a variety of Player Services department financial correspondence and records
- Provides administrative and or hands on support to Player Services department
- Develop a working knowledge of any IGB rules, regulations and Internal Controls applicable to this position
- Complete all paperwork in accordance with IGB and approved Wind Creek standards
- Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner
- Maintains strict adherence to the department policies and procedures, and a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Proficient in math - a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers including vendors, outside technicians, WCI Management and WCI front line staff
- Technical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be mature, possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, work independently, and be self-motivated
- Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License issued by the IGB as a requirement for this position

- Knowledgeable in all aspects of casino player services/credit operations
