Job Description
Summary: Veolia is the top-ranked environmental company in the United States, offering a full spectrum of water, waste, and energy management services. The internship involves supporting the development of a Stakeholder Intelligence Platform to aggregate and maintain publicly available information, focusing on real-world applications in regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
- Support the continued development and refinement of a web-based data aggregation and web-scraping application
- Perform quality assurance, validation, and cleanup of structured stakeholder data
- Research and populate missing or incomplete public information
- Assist in designing and testing automated or semi-automated update requests to source agencies
- Document data sources, assumptions, workflows, and known gaps
- Help improve usability and organization of the platform for both read-only and editor users
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Working towards a four year degree and you have Senior status in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related major
- 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfortable working with incomplete or inconsistent real-world data
- Clear written communication skills
- Able to work independently and document assumptions
- Curious about how public institutions, regulators, and infrastructure organizations operate
