Job Description
Summary: Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an intern with an interest in Human Factors/Ergonomics. The successful candidate will conduct store studies, evaluate user interactions, and engage in interviews and surveys to enhance product development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct store studies, evaluating front end
- Interviews and surveys of a variety of shoppers
- Interviews and surveys of various store employees
- Other tasks related to user evaluations for products under development
Required Qualifications:
- This role is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Human Factors Engineering (or equivalent) or Industrial Design
- Must have taken at least one psychology course and one human factors/ergonomics course
- Must have an ability to travel
- Creative, strategic thinking, and logical reasoning skills
- Capable of taking direction and working independently on assigned tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse team members as needed
- Strong usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
