Job Description
Summary: Tate is an independent brand recognized for its leadership in developing data center infrastructure solutions and commercial office raised access floors. The Line Technician role involves maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with equipment setups, adjustments, and installations using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and devices
- Efficiently perform tasks/preventative maintenance on machinery in assigned department, with a medium degree of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and programmable logical control boards and languages
- Ability to accurately perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery as required per establish PM programs and complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Keep supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly
- Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures
- Follows all Company guidelines as stated in the Associate Handbook and Safety Manual
- Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- 1-2 years of working in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably working with industrial machinery
- Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with accuracy and integrity
- Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop or crouch for at least an 8-hour shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some Technical or Trade school preferred
