Summary: Sir Grout is a leading provider of tile and grout restoration services, seeking a skilled Hard Surface Restoration Technician to join their team. The role involves restoring tiled surfaces and providing exceptional service to clients, with responsibilities including cleaning, repair, and customer service. Responsibilities: - Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Responsive and respectful interactions with our residential and commercial customers, focused on understanding and addressing their needs - Cleaning and Repair: Provide tile/grout cleaning, tile repair, minor re-grouting, caulking, color sealing, and minor repair services - Secondary Services: These may include residential stone countertop sealing, and applying coatings to all floors and surfaces - Safety Adherence: Safely and efficiently operate the service vehicle, utilize chemicals and maintain equipment, follow all safety regulations at all times including inspecting equipment, following all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, and using the proper equipment for each job - Process Payments and Paperwork: On site payment and paperwork processing - Business Development Activities: Possible activities such as engaging in community events, networking opportunities, and provide occasional estimates as required - Inventory: Maintaining and reporting on accurate inventory of chemical products, PPE, etc - Reporting and Communication: Reporting all safety concerns or injuries immediately, clear communication to both customers and managers on any issues or questions on the work Required Qualifications: - Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and precision to deliver impeccable results and exceed client expectations - A Valid Drivers License - Enthusiasm for hands on work: Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds for short periods of time - Motivated: Self-motivated for individual jobs and motivated by being part of an exceptional team with shared goals - Customer-Focused: A customer-centric approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address challenges in the restoration process - Time Management: Reliable and punctual to all job sites and in communication with customers and team Required Skills: Tile, Grout Restoration, Customer Service Important Skills: Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving Skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Honesty, Time Management, Interpersonal Skills, Self-Motivated, Clear Communication, Integrity Benefits: Bonus based on performance, Competitive salary, Free uniforms, Opportunity for advancement, Paid time off, Training & development
