Bi-lingual Logistics/Operation Coordinator (KR-ENG)

Summary: Samsung C&T America, Inc. is a subsidiary of the global Samsung C&T Corporation, specializing in international commodities trading and distribution. They are seeking a Bi-lingual Logistics/Operation Coordinator to oversee daily operations, manage customer communications, and coordinate logistics tasks to ensure smooth supply chain processes. Responsibilities: - Shipping documentation handling: upon receipt of shipping notices and documents from shipper and/or freight forwarder cross check against purchase orders in the system and work on revision as needed - Payment process: processing of various types of payments such as imported merchandise, freight, inland trucking, duty to US Custom and other direct costs - Folder/Journal management: all transactions and payment related documents for all shipments must be timely filed and managed - Logistics coordination for smooth operation matching up purchases with sales - Communication with customers and follow up on request accordingly - Purchase/Sales data input to ERP(SAP) system - Credit management for customer - Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Experienced in Shipping Documentation - High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Bilingual in English & Korean (conversational) - Ability to interact and communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers - Good organization skills Required Skills: Shipping Documentation, Bilingual (English & Korean) Important Skills: ERP (SAP), Attention to Detail Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication Skills, Organization Skills Benefits: 401(k) with company match up to 4% (50% match on employee contributions), Health benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
