Job Description
Summary: Rollins, Inc. is a global consumer and commercial service company specializing in pest management services. They are seeking an HR Intern to support various HR functions, including onboarding, recruiting, and HR analytics, providing a hands-on experience in a corporate HR environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including using the onboarding functionality within our HRIS (UKG)
- Contribute to cross-functional HR projects and provide general administrative support to the corporate HR team
- Project work focused on building a manager toolkit, enhancing the onboarding process, and exit interview reporting
- Audit and enhance 30-60-90 onboarding plans
- Develop standardized onboarding resources for managers
- Conduct new hire feedback interviews and summarize trends
- Support initiatives that elevate the corporate teammate experience
- Help develop a corporate HR dashboard (headcount, time-to-fill, turnover, etc.)
- Conduct exit interview trend analysis
- Map and document key HR processes
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
- Shadow HR business partner meetings
- Support the preparation of executive-level people updates
- Observe and learn how HR influences business decisions
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting jobs and sourcing candidates through various channels like LinkedIn
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates and hiring managers, and provide logistical support
- Learn and utilize our applicant tracking system (ATS), iCIMS
- Support employment brand activities and special talent acquisition projects
- Serve as a coordinator for the Rollins internship program
- Assist with intern events and engagement activities
- Support reporting, documentation, and program logistics
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage time and prioritize assignments
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks
- Must reside in the metro Atlanta area
