Summary: Maven is one of the largest independent brand experience companies in the country, focused on humanizing brands to create impactful experiences. They are seeking a Technical Designer to join their Signage Design and Implementation team, responsible for developing detailed technical specifications and collaborating with design teams to ensure the successful application of signage systems across various sectors. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with design teams to understand and interpret design concepts - Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for comprehensive signage systems - Utilize industry-standard software to prepare technical drawings - Advise on material selection, structural considerations, and installation methods - Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines, regulatory standards, and client specifications - Create site-specific design recommendations for applying signage systems to client facilities - Participate in project management, adhering to timelines and contributing to the efficiency of the implementation process - Manage responsibilities across multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and quality deliverables Required Qualifications: - Educational or professional background in industrial design, environmental graphic design, graphic design, or architecture is a plus - Advanced proficiency in ACAD, Revit, and Corel Draw; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp is beneficial - Experience in a production-oriented role, demonstrating a practical approach to design - Keen understanding of the built environment, coupled with a robust sense of scale and spatial awareness, to effectively contribute to signage design - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and code requirements related to signage is an asset - An organized and self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and proactively - Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines - The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adjust to shifting priorities - Willingness to travel as needed, though travel is expected to be minimal (20% of the time or less) Required Skills: ACAD, Revit, Corel Draw Important Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Technical design, Signage systems Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills, Organizational skills, Self-motivated, Collaboration Benefits: Ample paid time off to recharge and reset, 401K: traditional and Roth options, plus employer match, 100% employer-paid medical, dental and life insurance premiums for employees, Optional vision, life, short-term and long-term disability coverage, Paid maternity leave
