Intern - Legal and Compliance

Summary: Meeder Investment Management is a financial services firm located in Dublin, Ohio, dedicated to helping clients reach their financial goals. The Legal and Compliance Intern will support key projects and initiatives within the Legal and Compliance Department, collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive results. Responsibilities: - Assist the department by supporting key projects, initiatives and ad-hoc requests of Meeder's Legal and Compliance Department Required Qualifications: - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Strong collaborator with the ability to partner with people across many parts of the organization - Critical eye for detail - Effective with the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel and Word - Must be a recent college graduate or a rising Junior or Senior - Desired major - Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Political Science or related field - Interest in legal, compliance and regulatory aspects of the investment management industry - Interest in investment compliance monitoring processes and related system integrations (Bloomberg) - Minimum GPA of 3.0 - Resume - Ability to independently secure housing Preferred Qualifications: - General knowledge of investment management and investment company industries and regulatory environment Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Written communication, Verbal communication Important Skills: Time management, Problem-solving, Organizational skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Investment management knowledge, Regulatory knowledge, Interest in compliance, Interest in investment monitoring, Collaboration, Attention to detail
