Cloud Platform Software Engineer

Summary: MEDITECH is at the intersection of healthcare and technology, developing software solutions for cloud-based services. The role involves creating dynamic healthcare applications and contributing to the cloud platform architecture while working in an agile environment. Responsibilities: - Working with our industry leading technology to create dynamic healthcare applications - Becoming proficient in programming languages and technology stack while writing clear, efficient and high quality code - Becoming proficient with the programming tools necessary to develop our Cloud Platform and Cloud Database infrastructure - Staying abreast of technology advancements and changes within the industry Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with course work in a computer programming related field (i.e. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) - 1-3 years developing in Node.js environment - Experience developing containerized applications and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes - Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Capability to develop software solutions by studying requirements, system flows along with data and security needs - Experience with various SQL and NoSQL DBMS - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, connecting and collaborating with others - Knowledge of modern version control systems Preferred Qualifications: - Some experience with web development using Angular framework is preferred, but not required - Experience leading and/or being a mentor to technical teams is desired Required Skills: Node.js, Kubernetes, System design Important Skills: SQL, NoSQL DBMS, Angular framework Nice-to-Have Skills: Version control systems, Communication skills, Team collaboration, Mentoring Benefits: Health, dental, & vision insurance, Profit sharing trust and 401(k), Tuition reimbursement, Generous paid time off, Sick days, Personal time, Paid holidays
