Business Development Representative

Summary: Maple is a company focused on building AI agents for local businesses such as restaurants and salons. They are seeking a high-energy Business Development Representative to engage potential customers and help demonstrate how Maple's AI can transform their operations. Responsibilities: - Find and engage potential customers—restaurants, salons, repair shops, you name it - Qualify inbound and outbound leads and set up intro calls for our sales team - Get to know Maple inside and out so you can tailor your pitch to every business - Build relationships with key decision-makers and make every interaction count - Work closely with product and customer success to share feedback and spot new opportunities - Help us level up our outreach strategies and keep our pipeline buzzing Required Qualifications: - 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or just being scrappy and persistent - High energy, resourceful, and not afraid to cold call, DM, or try something new - Clear communicator who can make tech sound simple (and maybe even fun) - Comfortable juggling lots of conversations and priorities at once - Organized, proactive, and always ready to go the extra mile to win the deal Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with small businesses or technical products is a plus, but not required Required Skills: Sales experience, Business development Important Skills: Clear communication, Relationship building Nice-to-Have Skills: Resourcefulness, Cold calling, Technical product knowledge, Organizational skills Benefits: Full health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and unlimited PTO, Tools budget, coffee budget, whatever-you-need-to-be-great budget
