Summary: HCSC Solutions, Inc is a healthcare organization dedicated to saving lives by providing blood products. The Phlebotomist position involves safely collecting blood donations from volunteer donors while ensuring a positive donor experience and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities: - Utilize job experience and knowledge to provide exceptional donor experiences - Ability to utilize all computer systems to process donors through their donor process (screening and whole blood phlebotomy, and automated collections when appropriate) - Take personal responsibility for donor safety, complying with all Blood Center standard procedures and other regulatory standards - Set-up all supplies and equipment, completion of daily QC, and assure all equipment and supplies are available before the collection event Required Qualifications: - A minimum of a high school diploma or GED - Ability to effectively interact with diverse people and communicate (verbal, written, and listening) fluently in English - Proficient with basic computer skills and office tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to use software relevant to the position - Ability to solve problems and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary Preferred Qualifications: - Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred - 6 months' experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is strongly preferred - 1 years' experience in customer service is strongly preferred Required Skills: Phlebotomy Certification, Medical Assistant Certification Important Skills: Customer Service Experience, Healthcare Experience, Basic Computer Skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Effective Communication, Problem Solving Benefits: Medical with prescription, Dental, Vision Benefits, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance, Vacation, Personal and Sick Days, Tuition Reimbursement, Retirement Savings Plan, And Much More!
