Electrical Engineer Entry Level

Summary: General Dynamics Mission Systems is a leading provider of high technology solutions for national security. As an electrical engineer for Maritime & Strategic Systems, you will be responsible for the development and fielding of upgrades to critical national security systems. Responsibilities: - As an electrical engineer for Maritime & Strategic Systems (MSS), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the development and fielding of upgrades to critical national security system Required Qualifications: - Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field - Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire - Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information - Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required - Clear understanding of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories - Familiar with electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and circuit analysis/design - Creative thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success - Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Preferred Qualifications: - Installation and sell-off of upgrades at Air Force locations Required Skills: Electrical Engineering Important Skills: CAD tools, Circuit analysis/design Nice-to-Have Skills: Troubleshooting, Professional development, Problem-solving, Team collaboration Benefits: 401k matching, Flex time off, Paid parental leave, Healthcare benefits, Health & wellness programs, Employee resource and social groups
