Architectural Intern

Summary: Egis is a global leader in consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, and they are seeking Architectural Interns to join their Coral Gables, FL and San Francisco, CA studios. The role offers students invaluable exposure to real projects and experience in planning, design, and construction under the guidance of a project manager and mentor. Responsibilities: - Prepare and modify architectural deliverables as directed - Develop presentation and design drawings to convey design intent - Develop 3D Models as directed Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an architecture or related degree program - Strong 3D Modeling skills (SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit) - Proficiency in rendering software (Vray, Lumion and 3D Studio Max) - Proficiency with CAD/BIM drafting software (AutoCAD and Revit) - Advanced knowledge of BIM or Parametric Design is an asset (Revit, Dynamo and Grasshopper) - Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook - Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) - Ability to sketch and develop design ideas graphically (Diagramming by hand or digitally) - Ability to discuss and communicate ideas with verbal and graphic clarity - Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Previous work experience with in the AEC industries preferred but not required Required Skills: 3D Modeling, CAD/BIM drafting, Rendering software Important Skills: BIM, Parametric Design, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Graphic clarity, Sketching, Time management, Team collaboration, Verbal communication
