Job Description

Summary: Eataly is the world’s largest artisanal Italian food and beverage marketplace, and they are seeking a Product Intern for Summer 2026 to join their Product & Grocery Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data management, supporting the buying team, and collaborating with category managers. Responsibilities: - Perform data set cleaning to ensure accuracy and completeness, including D365-related checks - Ensure proper date formats and regional specifications are maintained across all datasets - Verify and update label specifications, including Organic, IGP, Kosher, and Non-GMO certifications - Update and refine the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Guide to align with current standards and best practices - Manage and maintain data integrity through regular audits and validation processes - Support the buying team with order entry, vendor communication, and purchasing system updates - Collaborate with category managers and buyers to troubleshoot pricing, item IDs, and order discrepancies - Maintain and update order records, trade agreements, and purchasing data within internal systems - Create data-driven reports to analyze product performance, usage trends, and vendor fill rates - Create and update the Winter Catalogue and the ICE Catalogue - Perform other duties as required or assigned Required Qualifications: - Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) and PowerPoint - Ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable insights - Strong organizational and communication skills - Interest in food and retail industry trends - Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Data analysis Important Skills: Market research, Communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Multitasking, Interest in food trends, Attention to detail, Organizational skills Benefits: Learn about food, beverage, and Italian culture through classes and events, Connect directly with company leaders through chats with leadership, Complete and present a meaningful project over the course of the internship, Free staff lunch daily and discount at Eataly marketplaces and restaurants, Have 3-day weekends all summer long (our program is Monday – Thursday)
