Patient Service Representative

Summary: Dental Care Alliance is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join their clinical team in Kingwood, TX. The role involves providing high levels of patient care and satisfaction, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with treatment plans. Responsibilities: - Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal - Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies - Answering Telephones - Scheduling Appointments - Maintaining Appointment Book - Confirming Appointments - Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments - Register Patients on sign in sheet - Post charges and payments to patient accounts - Checking voicemail on a daily basis - Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients Required Qualifications: - Experience working in a dental office, required - Experience answering telephone - Must have exceptional customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus Required Skills: Dental office experience Important Skills: Insurance knowledge, Telephone answering Nice-to-Have Skills: Customer service skills Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance (individual and family coverage), Life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, Team-oriented work environment with access to modern dental technology
