Summer Intern, Corporate Legal (Law Student)

Summary: Deckers Brands is a company committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace. The Corporate Legal Intern will gain hands-on experience with the legal team, rotating through various legal focus areas and providing administrative support. Responsibilities: - Carry out administrative services, providing support to the legal team - Support activities may include: reviewing and redlining agreements, drafting memos to internal business partners, reviewing materials for possible risk analysis, researching, etc - Assist with organization of legal documents and files - Support the Legal Administrative Assistant with ad-hoc tasks Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school, with completion of first year (1L) by the start of the internship - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organization skills and attention to detail - Ability to multi-task and work well with others Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in an office setting or law firm is a plus - Familiarity with MS Office Required Skills: Legal research, Contract review Important Skills: MS Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Multi-tasking, Verbal communication, Written communication, Organization skills, Attention to detail, Teamwork Benefits: Competitive Pay and Bonuses, Financial Planning and wellbeing, Time away from work, Extras, discounts and perks, Growth and Development, Health and Wellness
