Job Description
Summary: Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security and management. The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in driving awareness and adoption of Cohesity's solutions by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of a strong sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to build and refine outbound prospecting lists
- Identify key decision-makers within target accounts
- Create and execute multi-channel outreach sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Conduct discovery calls to assess prospective needs and introduce Cohesity solutions
- Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc
- Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives to progress opportunities
- Work closely with account executives to hand off qualified opportunities
- Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity’s platform to confidently communicate our value proposition
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in both Spanish & Portuguese
- Enthusiasm for sales, with ideally 1+ year of relevant experience
- Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools
- Experience with researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies
- Confident in making cold calls and handling objections
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Receptive to coaching and continuous feedback
- High level of grit and perseverance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset
- Collaborative, team-first attitude with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
- Self-motivated with a focus on learning and career development
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- College or bachelor's degree
