Job Description
Summary: The California Energy Commission is the state's primary energy policy and planning agency, leading efforts toward a 100% clean energy future. The Analyst II will perform a variety of administrative and analytical duties, working closely with various governmental offices and agencies to identify significant issues and recommend actions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a high degree of responsibility for a variety of administrative and analytical duties
- Independently take action based on limited instructions, identifying significant administrative issues and problems, and recommending action to the CEA
- Work cooperatively and tactfully with the Governor’s Office, legislative staff, other Commissioners, Executive staff, as well as other state, federal, and municipal agencies and departments

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using DocuSign (or similar) to route documents for signature, track completion, and maintain records
- Experience compiling, editing, and managing PDF packages using Adobe Acrobat
- Strong proficiency with Outlook calendar scheduling for executive-level calendars and complex multi-party coordination
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
