Millennium Space Systems Summer 2026 Internship Program – Flight Software Test Intern

Summary: Boeing is a leading aerospace company committed to innovation and collaboration. As a Flight Software Test Intern at Millennium Space Systems, you will work on analyzing, designing, and testing software products, developing test plans, writing test cases, and debugging software on real hardware and emulated environments. Responsibilities: - Develop test plans and write test cases - Write and run test scripts - Debug software and tests, both on real hardware and in an emulated environment - Analyze test results to verify its functionality and recommend corrective action upon findings of anomalies - Manage the GitLab CI to automatically run the tests Required Qualifications: - Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026 - Experience with Python, C and or C++ - Experience with GitHub / GitLab - Pursing Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field - Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026 - Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 - Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above) - Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations - Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships - Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing - Junior or Senior class standing Required Skills: Python, C/C++, GitHub/GitLab Important Skills: Test case development Nice-to-Have Skills: Organizational skills, Collaboration skills, Communication skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Health insurance, Flexible spending accounts, Health savings accounts, Retirement savings plans, Life and disability insurance programs, Paid and unpaid time away from work
