Corporate Intern (Wealth Management) Hybrid Schedule

Summary: Atlantic Union Bank is offering a Summer Internship program aimed at local students to gain practical work experience in the financial industry. The Wealth Management Intern will engage in various assignments related to wealth management, including investment research and financial planning, while receiving training and mentorship throughout the internship. Responsibilities: - Perform investment research - Review of investment portfolio strategy - Shadow and assist with the preparation of a financial plan - Shadow and perform system conversion work - Shadow and assist with trust administration work and estate planning Required Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years' old - Currently working on degree in Finance or Economics - Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required, and Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree - Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday - Must submit a resume and cover letter highlighting accomplishments, professional and academic goals, and expectations of this internship position - Submission of transcripts and two professional or academic references - Excellent customer service skills - Excellent analytical skills - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills - Must be able to function well with indirect supervision Preferred Qualifications: - Local candidates strongly preferred Required Skills: Finance, Economics Important Skills: Analytical skills, Customer service Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills
