Clinical Medical Operations Intern

Summary: American Regent, Inc. is offering a summer internship opportunity in their Medical Department. The Clinical Medical Operations Intern will support ARMD Operations by assisting with project management and various operational activities related to clinical studies. Responsibilities: - Assist with activities associated with development of clinical studies project management and timelines - Assist with activities associated with development and management of ARMD Operations SharePoint page - Activities associated with study operation, vendor management, budget review and contracting - Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs and Clinical Research & Development staff supporting ongoing projects and participating in team meetings - Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a science related or public health field (e.g., Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry) or related field from an accredited college/university or graduate study in MPH or other master's program in a science related field preferred - Must be detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks - Possess the ability to work independently and as well as on a team - Knowledgeable and preferably proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Power Point - Have strong oral and written communication skills Required Skills: Operations Management, Project Management Important Skills: Microsoft Office, Oral Communication, Written Communication Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical, Highly Organized, Detail-oriented, Team Collaboration, Independent Work
