AV Systems Tech Intern

Summary: Almo Corporation is the largest independent distributor of appliances, consumer electronics, professional A/V equipment, and furniture in the United States, seeking motivated interns for hands-on experience. The AV Systems Tech Intern will engage in entry-level responsibilities, gaining exposure to commercial AV/IT systems and completing quality-assurance checklists. Responsibilities: - Commercial AV/IT systems are staged, configured, and validated prior to deployment - Practice interpreting bills of materials and schematics - Performing device imaging and firmware updates, labeling and asset control, and completing quality‑assurance checklists - Independently execute a defined provisioning workflow for a small system Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in undergraduate program at an accredited college (preference for rising juniors and seniors) - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Productive time management skills - Minimum 3.0 GPA Important Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint Nice-to-Have Skills: Written communication, Verbal communication, Time management
