Security Officer - Main Lobby Greeter

As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Greeter in Los Angeles, CA, you will welcome tenants and visitors, support access control, monitor alarms and cameras, and ensure outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate - Control access to the property by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and notifying tenant contacts for approvals - Monitor CCTV, alarms, intercoms, and other front desk systems, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting details, and completing required reports - Support property management with lobby oversight, after-hours access coordination, and handling telephone and radio communications related to security-related matters Required Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Preferred Qualifications: - A guard card and/or license is preferred - Customer service experience is preferred - Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred - Alarm panel experience is preferred Required Skills: Customer service Important Skills: Access control, Alarm panel experience, Computer proficiency, Guard card/license Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
