As a Security Officer - Law Firm Check-In PT, you will provide customer service to tenants and visitors while managing access control and monitoring security-related activity. This part-time role allows for flexible scheduling and contributes to the safety and security of a commercial real estate location. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and/or access requirements - Monitor lobby activity, visitor flow, and building entry points to help to deter unauthorized access, and maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions and general inquiries - Manage visitor and contractor processing, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and coordinating approvals with on-site contacts per site requirements - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities as directed by post orders - Complete security-related logs and reports, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative Required Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Required Skills: Customer service, Access control, Incident response Important Skills: Monitoring cameras Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
