Security Officer Hospital Patrol - Overnights

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Patrol, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a healthcare location, provide customer service, and document observations to ensure safety and security. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures within a healthcare location - Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns - Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting clinical staff during emergency response activities as directed - Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with directions and de-escalation, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate - Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations to supervisors and client contacts in a timely manner Required Qualifications: - Have at least 1 or more years of security-related experience - Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are required - Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment - Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Preferred Qualifications: - A guard card and/or license is preferred Required Skills: Security experience Important Skills: Incident reporting, Guard card/license Nice-to-Have Skills: Customer service, Communication skills, Problem-solving Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
