Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conduct routine patrols, and support access control and incident reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per site protocols
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, directing visitors to the proper locations, and assisting with screening processes as required by the location
- Complete routine reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts
Required Qualifications:
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance
- Be 21+ years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
- A guard card/license is preferred
