Security Officer Distribution Center

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Enid, OK, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while providing customer service to personnel and visitors. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing and distribution location - Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements - Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, offices, dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations - Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries and/or contractors to the appropriate locations per site policy - Complete routine security-related reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership Required Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Required Skills: Customer service, Patrol procedures Important Skills: Incident documentation, Access control Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills Benefits: CLEET assistance is available, Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
