Security Officer - College Campus Overnight

As a Security Officer - College Campus Overnight, you will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and support access control while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities - Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders - Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual conditions and/or policy violations - Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing traffic and deliveries as needed - Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document observations, and communicate important updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts Required Qualifications: - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Preferred Qualifications: - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred - Customer service experience is preferred Important Skills: Access control experience, Customer service experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Computer proficiency, High school diploma Benefits: Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
