Summer 2026 Intern - Video Production

Summary: Alcon is a global leader in eye care, dedicated to advancing eye health worldwide. They are seeking a Video Production Intern to join the Creative Services team in Ft. Worth, TX, responsible for executing video projects, applying editing techniques, and creating broadcast-worthy content. Responsibilities: - Meeting with the producer and client to determine production vision - Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list - Supporting all aspects of the video and audio studios - Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques - Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value - Trimming footage and creating the rough project - Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects - Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence - Consulting with direct management, producer, and/or creative team throughout the project - Creating the final cut for broadcasting as assigned Required Qualifications: - Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to the internship, and at least one additional semester following your internship. Must have a graduation date of December 2026 or later - Must be pursuing at least a bachelor's degree in film, television, digital media or related discipline - Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0 - Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects) - Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.
