Quality Engineer Intern

Summary: Aerosonic is a leader in aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment, and they are seeking a Quality Engineer Intern to work with various engineers on project-based assignments in the Engineering Department. The intern will assist in updating paperwork and test fixtures as needed. Responsibilities: - Will be working closely with the Engineering Department - Will be assisting in updating paperwork as needed - Will be assisting in updating test fixtures as needed Required Qualifications: - Working towards a degree in an engineering major (preferred) with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 - Legally authorized to work in the U.S on a full-time basis and do not require sponsorship - Participants must be able to participate full time (40 hrs/week) as part of our internship - Relevant academic projects, internship or lab experience required - Minimum of 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA - Technical writing skills highly desired - Experience with statistics and data analysis - Strong problem-solving skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to think and work independently - Be a team player, who is self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn and a problem solver - Knowledge of one of more of the following technologies: AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Microsoft Suite, MRP Systems Important Skills: Statistics, Data analysis, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Technical writing Nice-to-Have Skills: Microsoft Suite, MRP Systems, Proactive, Willing to learn, Problem-solving, Organizational skills, Attention to detail, Team player, Self-motivated Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, 401(k) with match
